The process begins with the creation of high-precision aluminum tooling dies, into which specialized wax is injected to form individual patterns. Once dried, the wax is evacuated under high steam pressure in an autoclave, leaving behind a highly dense ceramic mold. This mold is then fired at temperatures up to 1100°C to sinter the ceramic before molten steel or alloy is poured into the cavity.
